Emergency Medicine
Though the idea of an accident is not something you plan for – hospitals do. An acute injury or illness may require immediate attention. Medical professionals are trained in responding to acute medical emergencies. Some of the most common reasons people visit an Emergency Room include stomach pain, head pain, chest pain, fevers, and injuries. The Emergency Room should not be used as your primary medical care. After a visit to an Emergency Room, a patient may be admitted, be given instructions to follow-up with their healthcare provider, or transferred to another facility for additional resources. The hospital contracts with Electric City Emergency Physicians to provide Emergency Room physician coverage.
