Auxiliary
The Bates County
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is a special group of men and women who come
together for one purpose: to provide support to the Hospital staff and
raise money to purchase medical equipment and room furnishings. Over
the years, our Auxiliary has raised several thousand dollars to help BCMH
purchase needed items to provide quality patient care.
We are proud
of the accomplishments of our Auxiliary, who was awarded "AUXILIARY OF
THE YEAR - 1999" by the Missouri Hospital Association of Hospital
Auxiliaries for their exceptional efforts in a small hospital. The
Auxiliary was also awarded "AUXILIARY OF THE YEAR - 2005"
By becoming a
Volunteer, you will enjoy planning and organizing fundraising events such
as bazaars, bake sales, quilt sales, book sales, jewelry sales and pancake
breakfasts. Our Volunteers share a few hours a week performing a wide
range of duties. They staff the Information Desk,
deliver mail and flowers to patients, staff the Outpatient Information
Desk, and assist in various hospital departments.
By being a Volunteer, you will receive
recognition for hours of service and free meals while volunteering.
Most important, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are making
a contribution to the quality of healthcare provided in our community.
