COVID-19 Vaccines

At this time, BCMH does not offer COVID-19 vaccines, but we are working toward availability in our Family Care Clinics.

Safety and Efficacy

We agree with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) that COVID-19 vaccines are the most effective tool against this disease to prevent serious illness and death.

  • COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective
  • COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of people spreading the virus that causes COVID-19.
  • Some people may have side effects after one or both doses of the vaccine. This indicates your body is building immunity against the disease. Side effects can last a few days.
  • The COVID-19 vaccine cannot give you COVID-19.
  • Millions of Americans have received the vaccine under the most intense safety monitoring in U.S. history. See more data on Missouri’s current dashboard.
  • Vaccination works better when we do it together.

Talk to your health care provider if you have questions or concerns about COVID-19 vaccines, or if you have underlying conditions that put you at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

What does the CoVID-19 Vaccine Cost?

For the Unvaccinated

Vaccines will help us move closer to ending the pandemic, but if you are not fully vaccinated, you still need to use all the tools we have available to slow the spread of COVID-19. This is especially important during times of high transmission in your community.
