  • American Cancer Society    Includes information on research grants, ordering ACS publications, the breast cancer network, alternative therapies, tobacco information and information on specific cancers.

  • National Cancer Institute    Includes news, information on intra- and extramural research, information for the public and patients, and events calendar, the international cancer information center and cancernet and technology transfer.  The National Cancer Institute also sponsors the CancerNet site containing accurate, credible cancer information.

  • Oncolink  Offers information on different types of cancer in adults and children, as well as medical issues related to cancer treatment; cancer news and oncology journal articles.

  • Women's Cancer Network   Developed by the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, Women's Cancer Network is an interactive Website dedicated to informing women around the world about gynecologic cancer.  The site is designed to help women who have cancer of the ovary, endometrium, cervix or breast understand more about the disease and learn about treatment options.  It also includes a quick, interactive survey to help women identify their risk levels for gynecological and breast cancers.

  • American Academy of Pediatrics     This Website includes a section for You and Your Family which offers TIPPS age-related safety sheets for children at various ages, as well as educational materials on television and the family, environmental tobacco smoke, infant sleep positioning and SIDS, protecting your child from poison, raising children to resist violence, immunization schedules and concerns, talking to your young teen about sex and sexuality, pacifiers, air bag safety and other issues.
  • Kentucky Regional Poison Control Center     This site offers information on poisonous plants, recommendations to parents on poison-proofing the home and other educational material on accidental poisonings.
  • KidsHealth     Information about growth, food and fitness, childhood infections, immunizations, lab tests and medical conditions, plus games and animations.
  • Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Network     The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Network offers a wealth of information on SIDS, including risk reduction, parent and sibling grief and FAQ's on sleep, smoking, apnea/monitoring, vaccinations and research.
  • Wellness Web     Graphics, animations and sound help school-aged children learn about wellness.

  • H.E.A.R.     Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the real dangers of repeated exposure to excessive noise levels which can lead to permanent, and sometimes debilitating, hearing loss and tinnitus.

  • New York On Line Access to Health     NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant and unbiased. Articles are accompanied by a list of resources available for additional help and information.
  • National Mental Health Services Knowledge Exchange Network
    Includes information on dealing with the stigma of mental illness, as well as links to other mental health resources on the Internet.
