Nursing
The
Medical/Surgical Unit at Bates County Memorial Hospital consists of
40 beds, 20 of these are
private rooms and 10 are semi-private.
Twenty-four hour nursing coverage is provided using a
multi-disciplinary team approach to meet the needs of
patients of all ages, from neonate to geriatric. The staff
includes ACLS Certified Registered Nurses, IV
Certified Licensed
Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants . Continuing education is provided to all
levels of nursing staff for maintenance and improvement of
skills to promote optimum health care for our patients.

The
4-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) is staffed with ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified Registered Nurses.
New Cardiac Monitoring equipment and specially trained and highly skilled RNs provide
comprehensive care to meet the complex needs of cardiac,
trauma, and medical-surgical patients. |
