Imaging Services

Scheduling: 660-200-2370

The Bates County Memorial Hospital Imaging Services Department (radiology) offers a variety of specialized procedures and diagnostic tests provided by registered, qualified staff. BCMH has committed to investing in imaging equipment and radiologic technologists so we can provide a full range of imaging services for our community.

Radiology is a medical specialty that uses imaging to diagnose and treat disease visualized within the human body. A radiologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries using medical imaging techniques. Besides traditional X-rays, there are additional services available that aid in the diagnosis of disease processes including ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography.

Our mammography services are accredited by the American College of Radiology. The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report that can be used for continuous practice improvement.

Our professional employees always focus on making your experience as comfortable as possible. Our staff will explain the details of your test, and guide you through the procedure with compassionate care.
